I flew to Denver last week to visit Robbie who is out there doing an internship until end of August. He is lucky that is brother-in-law Jakob was able to get him an internship at the company he works for. Robbie's brother Will is also interning there. So on July 4th, Will, Grace and Robbie left me and went to Denver for 8 long weeks. I miss them so much! Only 4 more weeks to go.

I had so much fun when I went out to visit them in Denver. I love visiting family that we don't get to see very often. Mindy and Jakob made my visit so fun! We went to one of Mindy and Jakob's favorite places to eat Cherry Cricket. It was SO GOOD. Thanks Mindy Jakob and boys! Miss you guys already!

Then we ate at one of their favorite dessert places. I don't remember the name of the restaurant but their PIZOOKI's are to die for!

Everyone at Pirate Cove

Two weeks after Robbie left to Denver, he suprised me and flew out to Utah.
We celebrated by going out to Texas Road House.

We went swimming at the Scera pool.

Since Robbie has been gone I have been spending more time with my friends. Regan, Kayley, Emily, Noah and I went to Costa Vida. It was fun to catch up.

Tara's Birthday Party

We ate at Olive Garden for Tara's Birthday.

Hair School Pictures

I got the coolest experience to have Rudy Miles and Heggy Gonzales do my hair and make-up to help teach their MAP class at Aveda. It was so fun. I felt like a celebrity! That day they were teaching Aveda students how to work a photo shoot. That is why my make-up is so bold and dramatic. SO cool!

Hair school is a blast so far. I am so glad I decided to do it. This week we start taking clients on the floor for the first time! Scary but exciting.

Elder Davies Returns and Carson Graduates

Today the 4th child in our family graduated from Orem High School. Carson is pretty awesome these days. He was 1 out of 16 students accepted into the music, dance, and theater (MDT) program at BYU. About a month ago he played the star role as Jean ValJean in Les Mis at Orem High. He also recently was awarded the Sid Riggs scholarship. Today at his 2011 class graduation Carson and 4 of his buddies sang the national anthem. Pretty sweet. We are proud of you Carson and all that you have accomplished!

I met up with a couple of by best friends Emily and Regan.. They were at the graduation as well. Emily's baby Noah is the cutest.

We ate at the Chinese restaurant Shoots.

Gotta include one of these pictures for every big family event. Typical Chase funny face.

Brothers

Carson with his beautiful sisters.

Tyler returned home from the Boston, MA mission on May 20th 2011. It was so fun and exciting to welcome him home from the airport. We (I) made a bunch of signs for Elder Davies' return. His flight had been delayed, so it felt like we waited so long.

Caden and Chase were so cute waiting up as close as they could from where he was going to come out.

There he is! Last one, with a huge smile on his face!

Chase got the first hug! Ty got a little emotional. Which made us all emotional. It was such a good feeling to have him home!

eReturned with honor.

Dear Elder, we have missed you!

(we look so young)

Tyler comes home in 20 days! So much has happened since he has been gone. I got married, Carson played Jean Val Jean in Les Mis, Chase has grown a mustache, Caden is obsessed with sports and knows all the stats and Tara moved to and back from Salt Lake. We are all so excited to see him again. His homecoming talk will be on May 22nd at 9:00am in my Dad's ward. We would love for everyone to come!

First Day

I had my first day at Aveda. 9-7. And boy it felt like 9-7. It was such a long day. It was hard to for me to be in the same seat for hours at a time. I am so used to standing up all day long. Today was boring and awkward. Lots of papers, power points, and getting to know you questions. I have not given up hope yet. I am still really excited about hair school and I know that all this boring stuff is necessary. I can't wait until we really start doing what we are learning. I have another full day ahead of me tomorrow. I hope it's better.

Hair School

I am doing it! I officially start hair school this week! IT'S GONNA BE CRAZY! I am so nervous but so excited.

I have been anxiously anticipating this change for a few months now. I really feel like this was the right choice for me. My schedule is going to be pretty packed. If all works to my plan I will work at the dental clinic on Mondays and Tuesdays from 8-5, go to hair school on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays from 9-7, and do eyelashes on Fridays. IT'S GONNA BE CRAZY. I can't wait.

I am so excited to start school and learn everything there is about hair, skin care, nails, and make-up. I feel like this is something I have dreamed about doing my whole life. But never really considered it until now. I am so happy that I am finally doing it. I think I am really going to love it. I am a little nervous about the atmosphere, working with all girls especially girls that go to hair school they seem a little scary and intimidating. If I just make one friend I think I can survive.

I am nervous about my schedule as well. I hope I still have time to get things done at home like groceries, laundry, and cleaning...and spend time with Robbie;) If I can just get through these next 14 months. Life will be good.

Robbie and I are planning a huge trip once we both get done with school. Our hopes are high. We (I) really want to go to Hawaii.

Well. Wish me luck!
