Just a couple of things that are on my mind this fine Saturday.
1. I got my first spray on tan yesterday. I can't decide if I like it. I am about 50/50. Some places it looks really good. Like on my upper arms, neck and face. But other places it looks ridiculous. Like my hands, feet and calves. It was only $13, so I am ok with it. It is great for fast results. If you see me in the next 5-7 days try to not stare at my hands or feet.
2. Robbie and I leave on Thursday for the Hill Cumorah Pageant. We will be gone for 3 weeks. I am actually getting excited, but more nervous. 3 weeks is a long time for me to be away. But I know more than anything it will be a great experience to grow spiritually.
3. I just started watching the bachelorette on hulu. I have only gotten through to week 2. I am loving it. I think my favorite so far is Frank. And thank goodness Craig M. is gone! What a bully. I am convinced he was only there to cause drama. He didn't care about aly at all. I could barely stand to watch him.
4. I got a new ipod shuffle. how did I live so long without my ipod? Thank you Robbie! Now I want to put a couple new songs on it.
5. I went to my doctors appointment last week and apparently I have thyroid problems. I was reading it's pretty common for like woman over 40! It is an easy problem to solve though. So it's a good thing we caught it early. Now I can get on the medication I need so I can function normally. no big deal. Don't worry.
6. Will and Grace's Wedding has come and gone. And so has Robbie's sisters. It was so fun to have everyone in town together. I have missed them all this last week. I wish we could see each other more often. The wedding was beautiful. Good job Grace! I think it turned out perfect!
That's all.
Life is good.

No "Thank You's"
I recently had an extremely guilty feeling come over me.
Let me confess.
I never wrote my "thank you's" from my wedding.
No real legitimate excuses.
Only forgetfulness and laziness.
I once heard that you have one full year to write your "thank you's" before people think you're rude. I'm not so sure this is true. If it is, I have 4 months left.
Do girls really finish all their "thank you's"?
My friend Kayley did.
TO EVERYONE I KNOW:
(this is probably what I would have written you, feel free to add in your name and gift given)
Dear ___________,
Thank you so much for supporting Robbie and I and our new life together. We really appreciate the ___________ you gave us. We can't wait to use it(or spend it)(hehe).
Thanks again,
Robbie and Kelli Matthews
**note(hehe- not included in actual letter)
I don't know what happened or how I got so behind, I am usually responsible and on-top of things. But for some reason I let the "thank you's" slip. I think I wrote a total of 30 and those were to people who came to my first bridal shower. I am sorry everyone! I know hardly anyone reads my blog, but if you do read my blog and you didn't receive a "thank you" from me I am so sorry. Please forgive me. I especially want to thank my family in Idaho who threw that wonderful bridal shower for me. It was spectacular and such a great idea.
Let me end by saying.
Robbie and I are so grateful for everything we received for our wedding last October. WE REALLY ARE SO THANKFUL FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS AND WE LOVE YOU ALL.

Mi Casa
Here are the pictures I promised a while ago. My camera still doesn't work, but I decided to use my camera phone. They aren't the best quality but surprisingly better than what I expected coming from a phone.
Our living room:
Our fantastic zebra couch that is extremely comfy. Robbie has a niche for finding great deals. One of his best friends parents were giving this couch to D.I. Robbie found love at first sight and now we are the proud owners.
No, our TV is not our computer. Our TV really is that small. Last night we almost bought a brand new flat screen TV at Wal-mart. I almost had him convinced, but then Robbie quickly reminded me that buying on impulse is never a good idea.
The R and K stand for Robbie and Kelli. I was shopping at Ross one day and I found these letters, it just so happens R and K were the only ones left. I HAD to buy them. One day I would like to hang them on the wall to the left.
Our kitchen:
Our dinning area: needs a little bit more, maybe a cute center piece.
Still working on this room. I want to find some cute curtains and wall hangings.
DISASTER!!!! 2nd bedroom:
Bathroom/laundry room: words can't describe how much I love having a washer and dryer.
The end.

thoughts.
work has been so crazy lately. like literally no time to think. just time to do. its hard. it's extremely stressful. I like it though.
you always hear people say: life is full of many choices. sometimes its hard to decide what is best for me (and robbie). there are choices that will hardly change my life and then there are choices that will impact my entire life. how do I know what I want? do I trade one great thing for another maybe-great thing? how do I know if I will like it better than what I already have?
friend relationships are crazy. some friends drive me crazy. so why are they still my friends? because they still are. and I want to keep all of my friends. sometimes it's easier to pretend things haven't changed. but they have. is it best to have a lot of loose friends or just a couple tight friends? friendships are so fragile.
diets. ugh.
it has been one weird week.
there is nothing like chatting with someone who thinks you are great no matter what. someone who listens and cares. someone who makes you feel completely justified even if you are not. someone I can talk to and not feel selfish when I am talking too much. parents are the best. even if they are not perfect.
i am so excited for Will and Grace's wedding. It is going to be beautiful. I can't wait.
i am not any kind of professional at the whole marriage thing, but the absolute best thing about marriage is that I can complain and whine all I want about everything in life that irritates me, and I know that I have someone in my life who will stay with me forever. What a relief!
netflix is awesome. robbie and I have recently started watching arrested development. it rocks.
